DICK SPANNER is a tongue-incheek television series created by the legendary Gerry Anderson (“Thunderbirds” etc.) and commissioned by the UK's Channel 4. In A Parallel universe to our own, Dick Spanner has a sleek, street-wise approach to his cases in the manner of a tough New York private eye but no matching expertise. He ineptly follows a trail of clues and encounters some glaringly dodgy characters along the way, constantly avoiding death and destruction by an unending series of flukes and outrageous luck.
