Inspire - Inspirational Programs for Children

Monster Distributes launches its new brand Inspire for its Inspirational Programming.
 
Monster Distributes Ltd. has launched a new division for its inspirational programming. The brand, which will be known as Inspire will feature inspirational programs for children. Throughout its 10 years in the international film, television and DVD markets Monster has acquired the distribution rights to many inspirational series and features, which include The Storykeepers, Hermie and Friends, which is the top selling DVD in the US CBA market, Kids Ten Commandments, winner of over twenty US television and home video awards, the Oscar nominated Give up yer Aul Sins, new series, Paws and Tales and Adventures in Booga Booga Land to name but a few.  These series have been sold to more than 110 countries.
 
Inspire currently has the largest catalogue of authentic programming which entertains and inspires, using the highest quality production values. As a result of this the company is now in discussions with several broadcasters about providing a branded block of children’s programming and is looking at several initiatives to build the Inspire brand and to place its programming even more widely.

Monster Launches Music Series at MIPTV!

Snow PatrolMonster Distributes is launching a 60-hour music performance series at MIPTV.

Other Voices, (60 x 1 hour) is a music series featuring intimate recorded performances by well-known international artists. Series 6-8 are all available in HD with the latest series featuring Snow Patrol, Florence and the Machine and Temper Trap. Previous series have included artists such as Amy Winehouse, James Blunt, James Morrison, Sinead O’Connor, Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova. The series is recorded in the unique setting of St. James’ Church, Dingle, Co. Kerry and in locations across the Dingle Peninsula, which provide a stunning visual context for the series. Presented by well-known BBC Radio One DJ Annie Mac. The series is airing on RTE in Ireland and has just been sold to Globosat for Pay TV in Brazil, Concert Channel, owned and distributed by DLA, Inc., with coverage in all Latin America and the Caribbean through a 360 platform that includes TV, VOD, HD and broadband, and The Arts Channel, New Zealand, as well as to airlines Aer Lingus, Swiss Airlines, Emirates and British Airways.

Also at the market is Planet Rock Profiles, (130 x half hour) with a new programme featuring James Morrison. The world’s leading series of biographies of celebrity music artists, Planet Rock’s catalogue of artists include Beyonce, Shakira, Nelly Furtado, REM, The Killers and Black Eyed Peas. The series is broadcast in 168 countries and on 72 airlines.

 

 

New animated series Indian Fables

Indian FablesMonster Distributes is launching new animated series Indian Fables at MIPTV. Produced by Accel Animation Studios, Indian Fables, 26 x 11 mins, is a fun and entertaining new 3D animated series, for kids 3-8. Available in HD, the series has just been acquired by The Disney Channel in India (Ek Tha Jungle), to premiere April 5th.

Based on the centuries old classic “ Thirukural”, the famous collection of ancient couplets which have been translated into almost all languages of the world, this animated series is designed for children of all ages.

With a colourful cast of characters including crocodile, cat, monkey, fish, bear, rabbit and bird, each episode explores universal themes in an entertaining way, from friendship and generosity to honesty and humility.

Episodes include Clever Rabbit, The Long Tail Monkey, The Helping Bear and Lion and the Magic Box.

 

 

Monster Distributes launches Baaas at MIPTV

Monster Distributes is launching live action series Baaas at MIPTV. With 104 x 12 mins or 52 x 24 mins plus Christmas, Ramadan and Eid specials, the series is a multicultural family sitcom, and is a ground-breaking co-production between Welsh based Ceidiog, S4C and the pan Arabic Al Jazeera Childrens Channel / JCCTV.

Ceidiog, based in Cardiff is the only Uk company to have completed two series of coproduction with JCC. Ceidiog MD Nia Ceidiog, also creator of the show said "I'm delighted that Monster are to distribute Baaas. The show is truly universal - it's about family values, and the Baaas are an extraordinary, ordinary family. They just happen to be walking, talking, singing sheep! Being with the Baaas is about Belonging!"

Meet the Baaas – there’s nothing cuter than cuddly, fluffy sheep and here’s a whole family of them. There are the twins Jaaason and Meeedea, Mom and Dad, along with Grandpa Costaaas and Grandma Baaalwen. And like all families, they bicker but the bonds of family are strong and run deep. The Baaas are connected to their relatives and friends around the world, thanks to Grandpa Costaaas who creates ways for his family to stay in touch. All episodes are available in HD.
